My job is to walk into rooms full of smart people. All experts in their field. All solving important problems. Yet something has become messy. Not because of capability. But nearly always because the most important decisions rarely sit inside one discipline. They cut across them.
Engineers focus on engineering. Operations focus on operations. Technology focuses on technology. That’s exactly how it should be. The problem is that the biggest decisions emerge where those worlds overlap. That's where projects get messy. It’s also where I do my best work.
Most organisational deadlock isn't a disagreement problem. It's an information design problem.
I don't arrive with a framework and force your problem into it. I've spent 25 years moving between industries — mining, energy, banking, fintech, infrastructure, government — and while specialists go deep in their domains, I work across them. That’s where the whole picture becomes visible and the decision becomes clear.

You’ll usually find me on the edge of things. Trail running. Mountain biking. Surf lifesaving. Endurance events. Building communities around challenge and connection.
The same patterns show up in both worlds: uncertainty, risk, preparation, teamwork and adapting when conditions change.
