Sharing a win! My consulting company, adaptandimprove.com.au, is officially two years old.

It's awesome to have consistently delivered value to clients every single month since moving to Perth from New Zealand.

Looking ahead! I'm currently available for my next full-time contract opportunity, ready to bring my strategic delivery and problem-solving expertise to new challenges, whether remote or in Perth.

If you hear of any opportunities or just want to connect, please send me a message or comment below. I’d love to chat, in person or virtually.

For all my new connections, and for those I haven't connected with in a while, here's a quick reintroduction:

Who I am: Rebecca Speirs, a strategic consultant with 25 years of experience across transformation programs, IT, digital products, business analysis, and increasingly, cybersecurity.

What I do: I'm particularly good at translating complex challenges into pragmatic strategies and actionable plans, bridging the gap between vision and tangible outcomes. I bring clarity, organization, and consistent delivery to dynamic environments.

Why I do it: I'm passionate about enabling growth and driving real, measurable change. My approach is about finding efficient ways for organizations to achieve ambitious goals, and for me, it's part of living a well-rounded life – balancing wealth creation with meaningful experiences and community connection.

I recently received this fantastic feedback from a Program Lead on my most recent contract, which perfectly captures the essence of what I aim to provide:

"I had the pleasure of working with Rebecca as Project Manager for an Asset Management Improvement Program — a complex initiative in the global mining sector, delivered initially through remote collaboration. Rebecca played a pivotal role in shaping the program’s early success... She brought consistency, organisation, and clarity to a dynamic and challenging engagement. Her ability to manage stakeholders, track progress, and communicate effectively — all while working from home across multiple time zones — was a testament to her professionalism and capability. Rebecca is a sharp, reliable, and solutions-focused project leader. I’d be glad to work with her again."
